    The names of Farr and Dujac speak volumes for lovers of fine wine worldwide. They are some of the greatest expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir you can buy. Both the Farr and Seysses families share a rich history which spans over 20 years and multiple generations. 

    These bottles are rarely seen on wine lists and are often buried deep within the cellars of longtime collectors. We have curated a selection of house cellared pedigree vintages and top cuvees from both producers.

  • Arguably one of the world’s top producers of Pinot Noir in the New World, Ted Lemon has been hailed as one of the leading biodynamic winemakers of his generation. He honed his skills at the esteemed Domaine Roulot in Burgundy before returning to the United States to establish his own Littorai label in 1993.

    With his first wines originating from Sonoma and Anderson Valley in California, his Pinot Noirs have consistently been among the most poised and seamless expressions of the varietal. More recently, his Chardonnays and Chenin Blancs have gained recognition for their concentration and longevity.

    Opportunities to have Ted Lemon at the table are rare, especially in such an intimate setting. We are truly honoured to welcome him for what promises to be a remarkable dinner.

  • Luke Lambert is not only one of the most humble and generous people in the industry. He also consistently produces some of the best wine in not only Victoria but in Australia. 

    You might be familiar with his chiseled expressions of Chardonnay or the silky and svelte Syrah. 
    However, our main drawcard is a deep dive into his Nebbiolo. A local foray into the varietal with a level of detail and nuance that we have not yet seen anywhere, from anyone. Luke’s take on Nebbiolo is one that has enamoured us for years and his approach is uniquely Australian whilst also paying homage to the great wines of Piedmont. Join us for a tightly curated 4 course meal to accompany this beautiful bounty of house cellared treasures.

  • The wines of Simon Bize are synonymous with Savigny Les Beaune. Chisa and her combination of Japanese and French “Bizedynamics” methods have really taken this domain to a new level. Similarly, you can’t speak of Vosne Romanee without Grivot. The wines have a beautiful balance between concentration, elegance and aromatics, and embody the “iron fist, velvet glove” we often refer to when speaking about Burgundy of this calibre. 

    Whilst we are confident in our ability to host such an event, we have decided to invite the long time importer and expert of all things Burgundy, Randall Pollard. This will be a night to remember with plenty of discussion and a chance to really sink into these two amazing producers.

  • Here at Ilaria, we have always loved the savoury and saline signature of Sicilian wines.
    These wines demand food and we look forward to curating a fitting 4 course menu. 

    We will be showcasing the entire island and looking at both exciting new talent, as well as benchmark expressions. To start, we will be comparing two exceptional Etna expressions of Carricante and Cattaratto. We will then move onto the slopes of Vittoria where Arianna Occhipinti crafts ethereal, elegant and aromatic Frappato. The main course will move back to Etna for old vine “Contrada” or “grand cru” well cellared expressions of Nerello Mascalese. To close, an extremely unique and rare bottling from Nina Barraco, a Marsala made in the traditional way and a nod to the Marsala wines of pre 1773.

Experience a diverse selection that spans remarkable vintages, pedigree producers, and a diverse array of styles. From the rolling hills of Chianti, featuring the renowned San Giusto, to the storied vineyards of Montalcino with the iconic Brunello’s of Biondi Santi, each wine tells a story of heritage and craftsmanship. We’ll be opening a few gems directly from our cellar, perfectly paired with thoughtfully curated dishes that honour their legacy.

  • We are excited to welcome back the Piedmont Dinner, now in its fourth edition over the past three years. This event has naturally become our most popular, showcasing the depth of our cellar and the exceptional wine program available across our group.

    We will kick things off with a selection of high-quality regional whites and sparkling wines before moving into an impressive array of reds. Among them, the elegant alpine expression of Nebbiolo from Alto Piemonte will demonstrate the diversity of the region and grape, featuring the renowned Arpepe from the exceptional 2016 vintage. We’ll then journey to the heart of Serralunga in Barolo, where we will be pouring the highly prized Cappellano Pie Rupestris 2012 Barolo from magnum. With an extraordinary line-up of vintages on offer, this promises to be yet another showstopper.

  • Neatly nestled between Burgundy and the Swiss border Jura is home to some of the most intriguing and mineral driven wines in the world. With its renowned Jurassic limestone terroir and famous Vin Jaune, Jura offers a remarkable diversity that caters to nearly every palate and style. From crisp, refreshing sparkling wines to Chardonnay and Savagnin, as well as uniquely produced reds that stand alone in their mineral and savoury expression, there's something for all tastes. The evening will feature some of the finest, with names like François Ganevat, Julien Labet, and the iconic Tony Bornard showcasing their exceptional wines. A perfect evening for those who appreciate this distinctive region.

All bookings are allocated a 2 hour sitting, if you require longer please contact the restaurant directly.
